I added some scenes that I thought, perhaps, needed to be in Wolves at the Door.
The first scene I added was one to enhance the scare factor earlier on in the film.
The second was a scene of character development that I felt would serve the peripheral characters, while at the same time making the protagonist relatable.
I am now off to practice my pitch for Personal Demons and send Wolves at the Door off to Tim Scott.
I also had an idea for a slasher film (which, surprisingly, I have not written one of those yet) while running my miles this afternoon. I wrote out the majority of it in an elongated synopsis. I oscillate between loving this idea and being ready to write it tomorrow... And second-guessing it, hating it and wanting to pitch the whole idea before I actually get the motivation to write it.
Who knows.
I will probably create a three-act outline and see how I feel about it then.
