I never thought I'd see the day.
But the other day I had a revelation... why am I seeking out, and overpaying, artists to create art for my one-sheets (for my screenplay) when I can have AI make me (potentially... theoretically) really good (and free!) poster art.
So, I blackened the background of a Word doc (had to watch a YouTube video to figure that one out... it's been so long since I've messed around with a Word doc), tried out all of the nifty horror fonts I downloaded about a decade ago and started making some new one-sheets (mock movie posters) for my screenplays.
So excited to show these off (mostly on FilmFreeway when I submit to fests).
Here are some examples:
Man, I am loving this.
The possibilities are endless.
Now I am off to finish creating a 3-act outline for a Christmas horror film that I intended to write next Yuletide season. I think it is my most marketable and fun (though in a rated-R Pumpkinhead kinda way) Christmas horror film to date.
