 First, yikes!

I had no idea that my last post (way back in January) was cut off as it ran into the right margins.

Why doesn't anybody tell me this stuff?!

Anyhow, fixed now.

Okay, so... it's been a hot minute since I've posted any poetry or short fiction on here.

That has to change soon.

However, in the meantime, I've identified two new possible venues for me to post me work on (or, if nothing else, post links back to this blog on).

The first is Reddit.

I know next to nothing about it (as anyone reading this knows I loathe social media), but I plan to do my research before diving in.

I just know that Bloody Disgusting just reported on a new horror comic by Virtigo (DC's darker label) that began life as a Reddit thread. That got me intrigued. 

Regardless, I can log into Reddit using my Google account, so I plan to scout it out before I post anything.

(Side note: I just toyed around with it and attempted to post my first post and it seems legit... as in, I can reach the communities I want to reach (writers) without dealing with the toxicity and negativity that is generally associated with social media).

There is also this website Substack. 

Now, apparently I already have an account here, because I get email from them.

Anyhow, I need to significantly investigate this website before I fully flesh out my profile and begin posting on it.

All of this, plus I discovered a ton of (cheap!) screenplay competitions and film fests that I need to submit to via FilmFreeway.

Getting excited about the potential exposure.
