Happy Place

Just had my final pitch of Pitchfest 2024.

It was with a company called Happy Place and a gentleman named Jake Martin.

Seemed to go rather well, I think. 

I have decided, though, that I am going to research the execs I pitched to. Then I'm going to give FadeIn until the end of the week and then email them to inquire about who requested my script. If they tell me no one requested my work, I will just send out a brief email to each of the execs with whom I hit it off and see if they are still interested in reading my script. 

I'm not even in the Hollywood system yet and already I am wary of many of the so-called gatekeepers of opportunity.
