So... Looks like Dedicated Talent took too long to get back to me after they requested the video pitch for Personal Demons.
So... Greenlight My Movie (GMM) refunded my submission and sent me the following message:
"Hi Erik,
We have credited your account with one submission for Dedicated Talent.
You are free to use the comp submission to submit to an alternate company.
Why did this happen?
Many factors contribute to a VIP/company not responding, including: the
company has gone into production/on location without notifying us, VIP left company
or has been fired, company has gone out of business, VIP inept, new VIP
on account and more. While we make every effort to contact them both
via email and phone repeatedly or replace them swiftly, if our efforts
do not produce results we issue you a credit for you to submit
elsewhere.
This does not necessarily mean that you will never receive a response
from the original VIP/company. Companies in production come back and
update their account, new-hire VIPs take over the account after we
contact them.
Thank you for your patience."
I guess any questions of GMM's legitimacy and whether or not they are out just to make a buck, regardless of their client/customer's experience, is now answered.
