So, apparently two other "VIP" companies saw my video pitch for Personal Demons via Greenlight My Movie (GMM) and want to view the full pitch. They are Dedicated Talent Management and Atomic Monster.
So, I'm $50 poorer buying two more submissions so I can send it to them.
Again, don't know if this is legit, or if GMM just decided that they hadn't gotten any of my money since July when Brick & Martyr (who I still haven't heard back from) supposedly requested my ull video pitch and then my script.
We shall see.
For now I'm going to deem it legit.
I suppose it's a lot like the MOREAP (the database on which all Missouri teachers create profiles and scour anxiously, looking for a teaching job): you post your stuff and hope for the best, expecting that those out there are honest and moral.
I have to say, I don't know that the "industry" would cotton to GMM faking communications and interest from its biggest (or even smallest) companies.
Atomic Monster is nothing to sneeze at. It was founded by James Wan (Saw, Dead Silence, Insidious, etc.) and has gone on to make mega-hits like The Conjuring and Annabelle.
I'm excited... Who's with me?
