So, this weekend... I wrote outlines for three future scripts. One comedy-drama, one family drama (my first... normally it's a genre I stay away from, but this one is autobiographical... and will be rated-R) and a horror film.
I also finished a review I've been working on for two months (yup, my review for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice).
And I transcribed all the files on the Sony digital handheld voice recorder (which I use to record writing notes).
Right now I am doing some tinkering on Personal Demons and adhering to the Tracking Board's studio coverage for guidance.
I am wearing my self-made Wes Craven tribute shirt and burning my Paddywax Edgar Allan Poe candle.
The only thing I haven't been able to do this weekend, is get a solid direction for this (kinda) werewolf script I have been meaning to write for some years. It's called Feral... Or Lupin... Haven't decided yet. Anyhow, I have a few key (and visually striking) scenes in mind, but no real story. Or, rather, I have a story, but don't really know how to fill it with events that will keep it flowing and keep it interesting. I don't know. Perhaps this is because this is my 3rd werewolf script I have, perhaps, done this particular sub-genre of horror to death. Or perhaps I just need to meditate on the best angle for this particular story and vision.
Who knows.
If nothing else, I know that the last sentence of the above paragraph sounded horribly pretentious and I apologize greatly for that.
Back to writing!
