Rejection from Phantom Four through Greenlight My Movie.com:
"This sounds like some good fun, and it seems like the screenplay is
doing well (congrats)! You've got some great characters, and the narrative
sounds fully realized. Unfortunately, this is just not the type of thing
that we are currently looking for tonally. I hope you're able to find
success with this elsewhere though, and I'll look forward to watching this
as an audience member. Thanks for submitting!"
This is perhaps the most respectful letter of rejection I've never gotten.
It not only makes me feel good, but gives me new hope for humanity (or, at least, the humanity of the showbiz folks out in Hollyweird).
