moving forward

Well, just bought my Silver pas to PitchFest ($375) and my plane tickets (through SouthWest Airlines; $354... Had no idea you could pay for a flight with PayPal).

Just spent $729 of my $1,600 tax return.

Whatever.

Immensely worth it.

Things are moving forward.

My summer is set in stone now.

I haven't stepped foot on a plane since 2008 (to go to Vancouver during the summer) and I haven't stepped foot outside this state (aside from the occasional concert in Chicago) for longer than I care to remember (I guess 2011 for another concert... in Louisville... But let's not talk about that).

And so I head out West... To try and place my name in people's ears and leave my imprint on their minds.

Sounds so easy when I write it...
