Despite my being utterly destroyed when I come home from work each night, I managed to sit down and write on a week day evening.
I punched out a pivotal scene in the sequel to Momo.
Was very proud of myself.
Have yet to find the discipline to write this weekend (damn video games!) but hopefully my German work ethic will kick in tonight or tomorrow.
At any rate, next weekend I plan to submit my two entries to ScreamFest this year (and make the 2nd, "Late" deadline of March 15th).
At first I planned to submit Momo and Dweller... But now, as I think of it, I think I'm going to submit Dweller and Humansville. Momo isn't really horror and I'm not sure even something as subversive as a horror film festival would "get" it anyhow.
It really surprised me that I had completely blanked on the fact that I haven't really done anything (submissions, etc.) with this script... If it's not succeeding as a novel, it as might as well have a second life as a script.
Anyhow, I worried about the length (Humansville is 126 pages), but ScreamFest put the ceiling at 130 pages.
I'm all good.
Sheeeeeesh! I remember even back in 2011 you still had to submit your scripts in hard copy.
Now everything is digital, PDF and PayPal.
What a difference a few years make.
