Toiling...

Tonight I submitted queries for my 6th novel (Urban Prairie) to five agents.

These were (in my opinion) calculated submissions.

I even found a literary agent (Jennifer Azantian) after my own heart: she specializes in horror!

And since the contract is up with that garage band record label of a publishing house (they who will not be named... but whose name constantly changes) I think I will submit my first novel (the gothic horror novella Humansville) to her in a bit. I just need to write a query letter for the thing. Hell (pun intended), I've already adapted it into a screenplay. The hard part is done.

Anyhow, I have decided that each night (whether I work one or both of my two jobs) I will submit or write something each night. It will keep me sane and, even if it yields nothing, will signal progress and development in some form.
