I just received the most unique rejection letter from an agent.

They wrote: "Thank you for your letter. I have moved away from fiction representation so unfortunately I will be unable to look at your materials or take you on as a client. I wish you the best of luck in finding an agent at another company.
All best wishes,"

Well, at least it's better than the ruse, "I'm not taking on any new clients" or the hurtful "this is not the type of material I wish to represent at this time" or the ever-curt, "I will pass".
