Just realized/remembered that I have iMovie on my MacBook Pro
This changes this... significantly!
If I can swing this, it means that I can record each section of my Greenlight My Movie (GMM) pitch and edit them all together seemlessly.
Which is good, as I'm having trouble remembering (and not screwing up) as I record a 5-7 minute pitch that contains a whole ton of information.
Maybe I'm nervous because I'm under pressure and this is my first impression with a group of 3 VIP companies GMM will send my pitch to.
Maybe I'm just in "summer break mode" and I'm not as on-point as I am during the school year.
Bottom line: if iMovie works out the way I want it to, I can have all of my pitches done and submitted within a week and can move on to submitting query letters to companies.
I can then write Personal Demons 2 unhindered by concerns that I'm not doing enough to help out my writing career... After all, what is good is cranking out these scripts if no one is producing them, if no one is experiencing these stories?
Sure, they're fun to write and its cathartic for me (as an artist), but Bill Burroughs said it best, “I think all writers write for an audience. There is no such thing as writing for yourself.”
