Does that make it fan fiction?

So... In my dreams of eventually making it to Hollywood, I (like most people) have dream project that I'd want to write...


Some of them are:

• A Godzilla movie
• Any movie in the DC Comics cinematic universe (with preference for something like The Demon, Batman, Justice League Dark, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Deathstroke or something Suicide Squad related)
• A movie in the Aliens franchise
• A movie in the Predator franchise.
• Ghostbusters 3 (picking up in real time after part 2 left off and ignoring the offensive reboot from summer 2016)
• RoboCop 4 (which, again, ignores part 3 and picks up a few years after part 2)
• A movie based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft but centering on Cthulhu  
• A number of video game adaptations (including Splatterhouse, Bloodborne, Dino-Crisis and a reboot of Bloodrayne)

Anyhow, in an effort to jump start my creativity again (as I haven't written a solitary thing in a little under two years) I am writing little scripts for either the teaser trailers or the opening scene for some of the projects I've mentioned above.

But does that make it fan fiction?

I don't plan to publish it on any website, or share it via any message board (not like that 50 Shades of Grey nonsense).

I also don't intend to show it to anyone... unless I make it out to Hollywood and Warner Bros. comes calling, asking if I have any ideas for their Legendary Godzills series... or any of their DC properties. 

Whatever.

It's not going to take up that much of my time, I'm not really serious about it... It really is just a way for me to get these ideas out of my head and onto the page and to help revitalize my rusty writing fingers...
