Now, back in 2011 IMs. Gossett told me of my script Flatdog (which I've written about here extensively and which impressed heavily at last year's Pitchfest in Burbank):

"Erik, I'm so sorry to be sending this email. Your screenplays were not chosen for the 2011 Shriekfest Screenplay competition. We would like to thank you for submitting your scripts to this years festival. Sending these emails is the most difficult part of our job because we know how much time, effort, and dedication goes into writing your screenplay. Please keep in touch, we hope to see more of your work in the future.  I have to tell you that Flatdog was very close to making semi finalist status!"

So... essentially, I've known I was on the right track for a while now...

But I can't rest on my laurels.

Have to keep submitting my work and writing.

And here I go to do just that...!
