Cynicism

Just sent out a cache of queries this evening...

Perhaps I'm growing cynical, but I wonder if these queries are even doing any good and if anybody is really even reading them.

I suppose time will tell.

I'm getting bogged down... Writing without an audience, writing without recognition...

Bill Burroughs was 39 when he published Junky. He said that, had he not found publication for it, he probably would have stopped writing.

Well, I've got 3 more years until I'm at the age where Burroughs considered throwing it in.

Hopefully I will not.
