Just submitted Personal Demons to the Days of the Dead International Film Festival.
Now, this is a big deal for me: As many who know me know, I am a horror con rat. And I've been attending this (Days of the Dead con) since 2019.
I attended the con in Louisville in 2019, where I finally got to meet Elvira, get a photo op with her and meet the ladies from the original (sad that I have to say that) Night of the Demons (Linnea Quigley and Amelia Kincaid).
I attended the con in Indianapolis in 2021 and it gave me my opportunity to meet Alice Cooper (!), Phil Anselmo (from Pantera, Down and The Illegals) and my childhood hero: Louis Gossett, Jr.
I then attend the con just for a day in 2022 and it gave me the opportunity to meet Doug Bradley (Pinhead from Hellraiser) and Tara Reid (Josie and the Pussycats).
What I'm trying to say here is that this con has given me some of the best memories of the last 5 years and they have put me in the same room with living legends and people I've only ever admired either from across a stadium (or amphitheater, theater, convention center, etc.) or on a screen (the silver screen, my TV, etc.).
Thus it makes total sense that Days of the Dead would then give me the opportunity to share my stories with the world.
I am hopeful and positive that good things will come of this.
Here are some choice photos from my Days of the Dead attendance.
