So... I continue to get the creative juices flowing (and prove to myself that I can do better than a lot of these hacks who're attempting to write studio cash-grab sequels or reboots to my favorite franchises) by writing sequels to movies I didn't originally write.
I just wrote the first sixteen pages of what I would like to see from Krampus 2 (which reads a lot like if Wes Craven had made an adaptation of Miracle on 34th Street).
I also penned the first ten pages of what I would want to see in Critters 5 (which is a direct sequel to part 4, obviously, and ignores New Binge and Attack!).
It just really feels good getting this stuff out of my system.
And it helps me write a little something every now and again and I don't have to worry about making it perfect As I do with my own work).
Next I think I'm going to revise a few of my older scripts, then begin either outlining Personal Demons 3 or writing a script that I already have outlined.
