Just finished Momo: Survival.
I began this script in 2011, shortly after completing the first script.
I have to say: writing the scenes of dialogue and genuine social congress between characters (both man and beast) was easy and enjoyable. But the action sequences didn't interest me at all.
Ah well.
Something else caught my attention, as I was filing my notes for Momo: Survival, I noticed that for the first Momo script and for Flatdog I had a 3-page outline for the scripts. And I remember the writing of both of those scripts being an extremely easy and pleasurable experience.
I don't know why Momo: Survival took me so long to write. Perhaps because I felt like there's was more story there, but not enough for a whole other movie. I gotta say, I was stretching to make it the required 90 pages. Oh well, it's done.
Not that anyone is throwing deals at me to make the first one, so a sequel is, from a production and financial standpoint, unnecessary. From a creative standpoint, however, it was entirely needed.
But, now on to a few other projects I've been toying with... Hopefully they won't take me as long... Think I'd better plan ahead, as I did with most of my other projects.
