Well, my one-sheet for Pillow Queen is, as far as I know, done.
I have the images in place, an agreeable font for the title, my contact info. on both sides and the synopsis and logline situated.
Also, I modified, slightly, the title shot for Flatdog (which looks awesome, see below) and some of the other images I plan to meld into my Flatdof one-sheet (which will hopefully be done by next week).
Also, as I think I mentioned before, my former screenwriting professor and current friend/mentor, Michael Amundsen (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0025464/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1) has agreed to look at my script for Pillow Queen and offer suggestions.
I'm a bit nervous.
I've re-read Pillow Queen and trimmed it down from 104 pages to 98, tightened up some of the dialogue and added some characterization in the dialogue, but I still feel insecure about it.
Several people have trashed this script and only one person gave me any positive feedback or direction as to how to fix it.
Again, I just want an agent to see the potential and say,
"I think we can sell this and make a lot of money on it, but it needs work. Let me set you up with another writer I represent and he'll help you mold this thing into shape."
Idealistic, but I hope agents actually do that and one is willing to go that route with me.
At any rate, I think I've got something here... I feel good about my abilities and my presentation (well, I will after I practice my pitch), but I just don't know if my content is what Hollywood wants... Or if they'll be willing to look past a few professional faux pas in order to see the real talent there.
Who knows... Gotta stop worrying about this and just finish getting ready.
