So, CinemaSpoke announced their 2014 semi-finalists today...
I was not among them.
Wasn't even an "Honorable Mention" this year.
Strange, considering the only other year I submitted (2012) I was convinced the judges hated the majority of my scripts because they fell into a genre (mostly horror).
This year I submitted my only script with no fantastic elements in it (the dark psychodrama Pillow Queen) and didn't even get a nod.
Huh.
I have theories about this, but alas yet another rejection to ad to the pile...
Doesn't matter.
Back to writing.
