Tonight/this morning I perused through a list of agents/production companies that will accept unsolicited submissions from unrepresented writers... The list has 43 companies/agencies on it. I anticipate getting to about half of them before my Melatonin kicks in and I am droopy eyed.
Also, my buddy Tim sent me his edits of my sixth novel (Urban Prairie) so I will hopefully punch up a query letter for that tonight before I hit the hay, that way I can hit the ground running tomorrow and keep submitting, this time to literary agents, who might be a bit more receptive... After all, great novels can come from anywhere... Novelist (one would hope) don't languish outside of the eyesight of coastal snobbery... 'Sides, T.S. Eliot, William S. Burroughs, Dan O'Bannon and Mark Twain (sort of) are from my hometown... that means literary genius is in the soil... right?
