Query submission... FINALLY!

Finally began the inaugural round of submissions for Pillow Queen.

Submitted to three agencies thus far (most of them won't accept e-mail submissions; they prefer for you to fill out a form via Survey Monkey).

Would have submitted to more, but Firefox (and now even Safari) are giving me trouble.

Firefox freeze up (as it did before) and gives me the colorful pinwheel thingy every five seconds, and Safari won't let me type any text into the text field of this blog...

Do I have a virus?

I thought that was unlikely (impossible nearly) on a Mac!

Am I out of memory...??

I don't think so!

I know I've got a lot of PDF screenplays on my desktop and I've been downloading a ton of digital comic books as of late, but my "Storage Report" says I still have 442 GB free of 500 GB.

Ah well.

I talked to a tech savvy friend of mine and he says that some older versions of Firefox work better than the newer version. That saddens me greatly. Firefox has been my browser of choice for several years. This just proves I'm getting old: I've started relying on certain brands (I'll pretty much only buy Club Room black socks from Macy's now... sometimes I want to kick my own ass).

Speaking of getting old, I lament the fact that I'm writing this at 4:30am and the sun will be coming up soon. I hate going to bed when the sun is coming up; it just feels unnatural. I like going to bed when it's dark and waking up well past noon.

Also, speaking of my getting old and sleeping (two synonymous topics, I assure you), I've found a new way to slink into my afternoon nap: I turn my Roku device to this station Pub-D-Hub (which has tons of great old movies and radio programs) and I listen to an old radio horror show (like Lights Out, The Creaking Door, Suspense, Inner Sanctum, Beyond Midnight, etc.) and I let that send me off to sleep. It's also good inspiration (both for writing and interesting nightmares!).
