Aspirations...

 It's so perfect that Joe Bob said that he wanted to have more writers on the show.
It is indeed my dream, after one of my screenplays is produced, to have my film shown on The Last Drive-In and to guest on the show and discuss it. Or to visit and merely show movies curated and handpicked by me. Movies that inspired or motivated me to write what I write.
It is a pipe dream now, but I'm  intermittently running myself into the ground to make it happen.
Pitchfest is indeed the first weekend in August, and submissions for The Blood List open soon.
There is always hope and opportunity.
