Response from Screen Gems... sort of

So, I received the following response from the VIP at Screen Gems (Giselle Johnson) that I pitched to at the FadeIn Hollywood Pitchfest last summer.

Here is what she said:

"Thank you for your message! I recently left Screen Gems and now working at Blackmaled Productions.

Now, I was going to send Giselle the script at her new company... but then I went to their website.

Not only do they not deal in horror what-so-ever, but they only cater to a very specific demographic.

I had flashbacks to when I sent my video pitch for Personal Demons to Monkey Productions.

 

So, I just sent the following message:

 

"

Dear Ms. Habibzai,

Greetings!

A little while ago I pitched a screenplay I had written (Personal Demons) to Giselle Johnson when she was still with Screen Gems.

She requested to read my script, but has since left for her new job before she was able to get back to me.

Her forwarding message said I should contact you to see how to proceed.

I've enclosed the logline and script.

Thanks for your time and attention."

As always, I will report as to what happens.
