Prepping for Pitchfest

I have to admit: FadeIn has been very communicative regarding the procedures surrounding the approach to Pitchfest.

They say we (the pitchers) will get the industry contacts from whom we can pick by Wednesday.

They also let us play around with the meeting sign-up system.

And I've created a Skype account and added them as a contact.

I'm going to spend the next few days exercising (as always), practicing my pitch and (for recreation) playing video games (Curse: Eye of Isis on Xbox), watching movies (lots of Shudder streaming) and reading (What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher).

If this year yields any kind of results (even results that don't, in the end, pan out) I might actually fly out to L.A. next year to participate in person.

Who knows?

Hopefully they will keep it virtual to keep costs low for everyone and to make it more convenient for everyone involved.

All of this, plus I did another re-read and edit of Flatdog and I do believe that is going to my entry for the Blood List's Fresh Blood consideration this year.
