Semester Writing Goals

So, I've decided two things about this semester...

1.) I am not going to buy a new Fade In Agent's Guide until I have successfully submitted to every agent I can in the 2019 Agent's Guide.
See, I feel like I buy these books each year (usually at the beginning of the year) and then I slack off and never get to the end of them... I lose the momentum to submit my work halfway through the year and I wind up recycling a half-used Agent's Guide.
No more.
This year I will not buy the 2020 Agent's Guide until the 2019 Agent's Guide is all used up... bloodied with my red pen markings and every agent in it (or, at least the one's amendable to my genre... or who are open to unsolicited submissions) have been contacted.

Also, and this is just a side note (and I may have noted this before), but I hate it when I go to submit to an agent or producer and Gmail auto fills their e-mail address in... because I've submitted to them before... recently... see, this is why I need to finish an entire Agent's Guide before I buy another.

2.) Since I need concentration to see a full narrative (like a feature screenplay) through to the end, I am going to focus on short stories, possibly a longer short story (30-50 pages), little vignettes and stories that are little more than a collection of memories until summer, when I can dig my heels in and focus on my next original feature script.
And that script is either going to be the long-gestating raunchy comedy I have dreamt of, or another horror script (of which I have a wealth to choose from).
