This normally wouldn't bother me, but fore the fact that Micro Center says it will cost $250 to fix my keyboard and while this old school typewriter-esque keyboard I am currently using rules, I have to either elevator my laptop on a raised stand, or sit a little too far away from my laptop to use it.
Both of which feel a bit unnatural to a man who (for twenty years) has used a laptop the traditional way.
At any rate, I went to submit Personal Demons to the Chicago Horror Film Festival... The first thing that turned me offd was their $90 submission fee... but I went to submit anyway and Film Freeway informs me that "Script must not exceed 46 pages to be eligible for this category".
Huh...?
Okay... Moving on.
I then went to submit to several other horror film festivals on my list (Glasgow Horror Festival, Mistress Mary's Horror Film FestiEvil, Screamfest, Vancouver Horror Show) and they were all either closed top entries, or didn't seem to have a screenplay competition... just films (mostly shorts).
What a wasted day...
That won't stop me from sending out queries letters to agents, though.
