Screen Gems rejection

So, GreenLightMyMovie.com just wrote me,

"Dear Erik Harshman,

Thank you for allowing us to review and consider your project "Personal
Demons".

Please find our response below.

Response: This is a pass for us, because; We currently have something
similar in development.

Comment: There seems to be a bevy of demon projects today. Since we already
have one in development we can't consider a second, unfortunately..

Best Regards,
SCREEN GEMS
"

A few thoughts:

First, I'm not worried when they say they have something "similar" in production. All that means is that they might have something about a demon in production. Could be demon possession (another Exorcist copy), a Hell-on-Earth movie (like As Above So Below) or just any sort of movie with religious overtones about demons (which could range anywhere from 1999's Stigmata to 2000's Lost Souls).

Second, I'm not terribly heartbroken at this because, while Screen Gems are one of my cinematic heroes, I realized that they might be too big for a small, no-namer like me. It was a pipe dream.
Still, I queried them because I'll never forget the joy I felt at seeing the Screen Gems logo pop up right before an Underworld movie (one of my favorite franchises!) or the first (and best) Resident Evil film or any other stellar horror film (like Vacancy or Ghosts of Mars).

I don't know.

Some day, though, they will make one of my scripts.
Oh yes, they will make one of my scripts...
