Just got done sending a slew of e-mail follow-ups to the people I pitch to at PitchFest.
The assistant from Gotham Group (Tamm) did not give me any contact information, so I had to fish around the web for it.
I also fucked up and did not look at my notes before submitting to Benderspink (who is a pretty big company). I thought they weren't feeling my pitch for Flatdog, so my e-mail said:
"Last Sunday (May 31st) I had the pleasure of pitching to one of your representatives at the Great American Pitchfest.
While the project I was pitching (Flatdog) was not to their liking, they invited me to submit the loglines (also attached) for my other completed scripts.
Thank you for your time and consideration."
Turns out, in my notes, I had written for me to send Benderspink Flatdog... Well, I just fucked that up. Oh well.
I e-mailed the Radmin Group and the Horror Equity Fund (who rejected Flatdog this past Tuesday) my loglines.
And I just sent Alex Edleman (from the Warden Group) the first thirty pages of Flatdog and my loglines (as he requested).
For the rest of the night I plan to re-write my query letter for Flatdog, send two short scripts I've written to Diabolic Films and perhaps do a bit of writing in a script I've been meaning to finish since 2011.
