back to the drawing board

So... I just read the feedback I received from Coverage, Inc. (back in November!).

Amazing... They are the first people who have read Pillow Queen and, instead of getting offended and blasting it or just telling me what's wrong with it and not telling me how to fix it, they actually gave me sound advice as to what needed to be changed/re-written.

So, while reading their feedback, I made up a list of bulletpoints (about 5 of them) with things I intend to change in the 2nd draft.

I've never written a second draft before.

This is progress.

It's taking me out of my narcissistic ("My first draft is perfect, fuck you!") mindset and giving me the tools I need in order to make my next draft more marketable (even if the subject matter of the script and the characters aren't).

I plan to intermittently re-write Pillow Queen while finishing another script I began back in 2011. However, I plan to keep all my drafts of this script on my computer and save each new draft with the draft number in the file title.

After all, if it gets made and becomes a box office success, well, hell, I can print out & sell the previous drafts on eBay, right?
