Well, I just submitted Pillow Queen to:

It'll cost me $129 (and I'm generally uber-wary of opportunities that cost anything... Even though most competitions and film fests writers and filmmakers enter cost something), but since it is coming from PitchFest, well, I am forced to consider it...

I've certainly wasted $100+ on dumber things (bar tabs, etc.).

But before I submitted it I went through and (page-by-page) considered and implemented all of CinemaSpoke's editorial suggestions.

I think it is (by industry standards as least) formatted perfectly.

We shall see.

I also sent a copy to PJ McNeil for his review.

I am keeping hopeful that, by embracing every available opportunity, something will arise.
