OH... YEAH!

Got this e-mail in my inbox today.

I'm extremely excited:

"Thank you for the query you sent to The ___________ Literary Agency.
Due to the large volume of electronic queries we receive, most are briefly reviewed and declined.  After reading your query, however, we have found that we are not entirely convinced it should be dismissed.  If you would like to convince us that your project is truly worthy of representation, please follow the instructions detailed below.

Forward to us your snail mail address (street, city, state and zip) in an email, and we will then send you a form for you to sign with instructions for submitting your project to the Agency. Follow those instructions carefully and be sure to sign the original permission form and return it to us along with your writing project.

[Important note:  We will not review your writing project without your signed permission form.]

At this point in the submissions process, we have found that snail mail is the most efficient method of communicating with writers. Snail mail ensures that you are not lost in the deluge of incoming electronic queries."
